We are very excited to hear from you! You've made a great choice by choosing to visit the Amazon Rainforest, the natural habitat of the Goliath birdeater (Theraphosa blondi). Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will have the opportunity to witness this most excellent arachnid in the wild. Goliath birdeaters spend most of their time in burrows and come out at night to hunt. That said, this itinerary does offer some evening tours which may grant you the opportunity to view this intimidating eight-legged apex predator.
