- Day 1
Baltra to Isabela Island
Your guide meets you when you land at Baltra Airport and then heads to Puerto Ayora for lunch. Around 14:00, you'll hop on a public speedboat headed to Isabela Island, which takes about 2.5 hours. After you arrive, check into your hotel and get settled for the night.

Isabela Island
Following breakfast, you'll hike both Sierra Negra Volcano and Chico Volcano. The 12 km hike takes roughly 4 hours across pretty gradual terrain, so it's manageable for most fitness levels. Sierra Negra holds the second largest crater in the world at about 6 miles across. If you prefer not to walk, a horse riding option is available for extra cost. Back at the hotel by afternoon, you can relax, head to Concha Perla for snorkeling, or just hang out at the beach.

Isabela Island
In the morning, take a small speedboat from Puerto Villamil out to Tintoreras Islet, which is about 20 minutes away. You'll see white-tip sharks, penguins, and sea lions while snorkeling and swimming among colorful fish, sharks, and rays. After grabbing lunch in town, you'll hike the Humedales Complex, covering 12 km total. Along the way, you'll pass the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center, Muro de las Lágrimas, Mirador Orchidia viewpoint, and El Estero de Isabela.

Isabela Island to Santa Cruz Island
Head out early on the public speedboat at 06:00 am from Isabela back to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island. Your guide meets you for breakfast and helps with hotel check-in. From there, you'll head to the Highlands to see Galapagos Giant Tortoises living in their natural habitat. Back in Puerto Ayora for lunch, then you'll visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and Interpretation Center to see giant tortoises, Land Iguanas, baby tortoises, and the preserved remains of Lonesome George.

Landmarks/POIs Highlands of Santa Cruz Island Charles Darwin Research Station Interpretation Center - Day 5
Santa Cruz Island
You'll head out on a navigable tour to one of four possible islands: Bartolomé, Santa Fe, South Plazas, or North Seymour (the location depends on date availability and which site is navigable that day). Early morning pickup happens at either 05:00 or 08:00 am, then you'll travel by small vessel to the site. The day includes hiking, snorkeling, swimming, and watching wildlife. You'll return to your Santa Cruz hotel in the afternoon, giving you time to relax before your final evening in Galapagos.

Get up at 06:00 am, have breakfast, and then transfer to Baltra Airport for your flight back to Quito or Guayaquil. Depending on your flight time and how the overall tour timing works out, there might be a chance to visit Twin Craters on the way to the airport.
