Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha
You'll land at Kilimanjaro International Airport and get driven to your hotel in Arusha. It's a straightforward arrival day, so you can settle in and rest up before the safari begins.
- Day 2
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you'll head out to Tarangire National Park for an afternoon game drive. There's plenty of wildlife in this area, and your guide will help you spot animals in their natural habitat. You'll spend the night at Tarangire Sopa Lodge or a similar property.

Lake Manyara National Park
This morning starts with a game drive in Tarangire, then you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park. After grabbing lunch at the lodge, you'll get back out for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay follow.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
You'll leave Lake Manyara heading toward the Serengeti with a picnic lunch packed for the trip. On the way, you'll stop at Olduvai Gorge to see this historically important site where early humans once lived. Later, an afternoon game drive kicks off your time in the Serengeti before dinner and overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park
Another day of game viewing in Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives scheduled. Your guide will work throughout the day to locate where the animals are gathering. You'll stay another night at Into Wild Serengeti.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 7
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast with a packed lunch ready, you'll drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, there's an option to explore Olduvai Gorge or visit a Maasai boma if you'd like. Then you'll descend into the crater for a 6-hour tour of this natural amphitheater, where you can see rhino, elephant, lion, and buffalo. Picnic lunch happens inside the crater. You'll head back to Arusha in the afternoon.

Arusha National Park
Early morning pickup at 0800hrs from your Arusha hotel for a guided nature walk through Arusha National Park with an armed ranger accompanying you. You'll descend through Meru Crater and walk by Ngerenanyuki River and the Buffalo Glade. After lunch, the walk continues through Momella-Tululusia Waterfall trail where a 28-meter waterfall and Kilimanjaro views stand out. Keep an eye out for elephants, buffaloes, and Colobus monkeys. You'll be back in Arusha by late afternoon.
