Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll be met when you arrive and transferred to your hotel. Dinner is provided, and you'll stay overnight, though you'll need to arrange your own airport transfer and book your accommodation separately.
- Day 2
Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve
After being picked up, you're driven to Selous Game Reserve for about 5 to 6 hours with lunch during the journey. Once you check in at Selous Mapumziko Lodge, head out on an evening boat safari along the Rufiji River. You'll look for crocodiles, hippos, and roughly 440 bird species while watching the sunset. Then it's back for dinner and your overnight stay.

Selous Game Reserve
Breakfast starts early at 7:00 a.m., followed by a full day of game driving in a specially modified vehicle with a guide. You'll search for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and rare African hunting dogs through wetlands and acacia forests. A packed lunch comes with a rest period at a shaded spot near water. You're back by 6:30 p.m. for sunset and dinner.

You'll search for the same wildlife across the reserve's varied landscapes from wetlands to acacia forests. A packed lunch and rest time at a shaded location are included. Return happens by 6:30 p.m. for sunset and dinner.
