Ashgabat
You'll land in Ashgabat and head to your hotel to get settled. After you drop your bags, the rest of the day is yours to wander around, grab some food, or just rest up before things get going.

Ashgabat to Mary
Meet the group in the morning before flying to Mary to spend the day at Merv, an ancient Silk Road city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll walk through the archaeological ruins and stop at the regional history museum. An evening flight brings you back to Ashgabat for the night.

Landmarks Merv (Ancient City) - Day 3
Ashgabat to Darvaza Gas Crater
Start the morning with a sightseeing tour of Ashgabat hitting Old Nisa, Turkmenbashi Mosque, National Museum, Monument of Neutrality, and the Akhalteke horse stables. After lunch, you'll drive 280km through the Karakum Desert in 4x4 vehicles (about 5-6 hours) to reach Darvaza gas crater. You'll set up camp there, have dinner cooked over the fire, and sleep in tents for the night.

Darvaza to Kunya-Urgench to Ashgabat
You'll leave the crater early and drive to Kunya-Urgench to check out historic mausoleums and Islamic monuments like Kutlug Timur Minaret and Kyrk Molla Hill. Later in the evening, an airflight takes you back to Ashgabat where you'll transfer to your hotel.
