Vienna
Your Austrian adventure starts in Vienna where your private driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel in the city center. Depending on when you land, there's time for a casual evening walk along the Ringstrasse. You'll pass some of Vienna's most iconic buildings like the State Opera House and Parliament, which look particularly nice when the sun's going down.

Vienna to Salzburg
After breakfast at your hotel, a guide walks you through Vienna's historic center, checking out St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Hofburg Palace. By evening you'll be in Salzburg, where there's time to wander through the old town along the Salzach River and get a feel for the place.

Following breakfast, you head into Austria's alpine region with a stop in Hallstatt, a village that shows up in photographs constantly. You'll have time to walk through the market square and visit the 12th-century parish church. There's an option to take the funicular up to the ancient salt mines if you're interested. Then it's on through alpine valleys to Innsbruck, where a local guide introduces you to the city and shows you the Golden Roof and Hofburg Palace.
