Murun City - Ulaan Uul Soum
You'll arrive in Murun and get settled with a Darkhad nomadic family. Spend the day resting and getting acclimated to the area. If you're feeling up to it, there's time for light sightseeing or walking around nearby herder communities to see how people live and work in rural Mongolia.

- Day 2
Taiga Forest
Head deep into the boreal Taiga forest by 4x4 vehicle or horseback through one of Mongolia's least-explored regions. You'll watch for wildlife like deer and foxes along forest trails, then stay the night with the reindeer tribe in a hut. The remote setting gives you a real feel for this world.

Landmarks Taiga Forest - Day 3
Taiga Forest

Ulaan Uul Soum

Murun City to Ulaanbaatar
Take a domestic flight from Murun to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital and largest city. Once you arrive, transfer to your hotel or explore at your own pace. The rest of the day is free so you can rest after traveling and get your bearings in the city.

Landmarks Ulaanbaatar - Day 7
Terelj National Park
Travel to Terelj National Park to see rolling hills, pine forests, and dramatic rock formations. Check out the famous Turtle Rock and visit the massive Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue, a 130-foot monument on horseback. The day brings together natural landscapes with Mongolia's historical heritage.

Ölgii to Ulaanbaatar
