Adrigole to Castletownbere

Bere Island
You'll take a short crossing to Bere Island and spend the day following old military roads toward Ardnakinna Lighthouse. From there, you can hike through the hills to find an ancient signal tower, pass by a Bronze Age menhir, and stop in the village of Rerrin before heading back to the mainland.

This hike crosses the central ridge of the Slieve Miskish Mountains, where you'll pass an ancient stone circle and a stone row. Walking north, you leave the southern shores of the Beara Peninsula and reach the colorful village of Eyeries, which covers roughly 17.4 km for the day.

Ardgroom to Lauragh
Starting from Ardgroom, you'll walk east and pass several stone circles along the way to the small hamlet of Lauragh. This hamlet sits on the northern side of the Healy Pass, and you'll have great views throughout the hike, with a distance of about 13.7 km.

Drombohily to Kenmare
You'll hike east over two mountain passes on your way to Kenmare, a historic market town. The route takes you through Gleninchaquinn Valley with views of Cloonee Lakes, and you can stop to see the Uragh Stone Circle along the way, covering approximately 19.1 km.
