Porto
You'll arrive in Porto and get settled at your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to do whatever you feel like. Some people wander around the city to get a feel for the place, others grab dinner somewhere local, and some just rest up from traveling. It's entirely up to you how you want to spend it.

- Day 2
Porto
Meet at 7:30 am for a guided tour through Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll walk through the Cathedral and check out the old Stock Exchange building, then head to the Church of St Clara. After that, you'll finish up at a traditional wine cellar where you'll get to taste some Porto wine. It's a solid way to see what the city has to offer.

Porto to Coimbra
Head south to Coimbra, which has a lot of history tied to one of Europe's oldest universities. You'll spend time in the old town and around the university area, seeing the fine architecture and getting views over the River Mondego. Grab lunch together midday, then the afternoon is free. You can wander the historic streets, check out the university library, or just hang out at a riverside café.

- Day 4
Coimbra to Fatima to Lisbon
Travel south to Fatima, one of the biggest pilgrimage centers in Portugal, and you'll have time on your own to visit the Shrine. Later, head to Lisbon, Portugal's capital on the Tagus River. Once you're settled at your accommodation, the evening is relaxed. There's also an optional Fado night tour if you want to experience the traditional Portuguese music scene.

- Day 5
Lisbon
Start the day at Edward VII Park for sweeping views of the city, then move through Rossio Square and down Liberdade Avenue. You'll visit the Madragoa District where Fado music has its roots, and after that head to Belém District to see the Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, and Jerónimos Monastery. The afternoon is yours to explore on your own, or there's an optional excursion to Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril if you're interested.

Lisbon to Mérida to Seville
Cross into Spain and arrive in Mérida where you can spend time exploring the Roman archaeological site on your own, including the UNESCO-recognized Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre. Grab lunch whenever you like, then continue along the historic Silver Route heading toward Andalusia. You'll reach Seville later in the evening for dinner.

Seville
Start with a guided tour of Seville, beginning at Maria Luisa Park and the impressive Plaza de España. You'll see the Cathedral from outside and its famous Giralda bell tower, then walk through the Santa Cruz district with its narrow streets and active squares. Lunch is on your own schedule, and the afternoon is free to explore further. Optional activities include a Guadalquivir River cruise or a visit to the Maestranza bullring.

Seville to Ronda to Costa del Sol
Travel along the Route of the White Villages through the Andalusian countryside toward Ronda. This town sits dramatically above a gorge and has a lot of traditional character and nice views. You'll have free time to look around before heading to the Costa del Sol for the night.

Costa del Sol to Tangier
Take a ferry from the Costa del Sol across the Strait of Gibraltar to Tangier, Morocco. You'll have a guided tour of the area that includes Cape Spartel where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. The Grottos of Hercules are available if you want to visit on your own. Later, you can either explore at your own pace or join an optional excursion to Tetouan.

Tangier to Volubilis to Méknes to Fes
Head through the Middle Atlas Mountains toward Fes. First, you'll stop at Volubilis to see impressive Roman ruins including the Decumanus Maximus main street that links the Gate of Tangier to the Arch of Caracalla. Then continue to Méknes, one of Morocco's historic imperial cities, to walk through the medina, see El-Hedim Square, and view the magnificent Bab Al Mansour gate. Arrive in Fes in the afternoon for dinner.

Fes
Spend the day in Fes, Morocco's imperial city and an intellectual and spiritual center. Start with a panoramic drive past the Royal Palace with its seven grand gates. Then explore the medina of Fes el-Bali, the oldest and largest in Morocco with over 2,000 narrow streets and hundreds of mosques. Walk from Bab Boujloud to Es-Seffarine Square, discovering traditional craftsmanship and artisan areas like the leather tanners and seamstresses. Visit a Medersa Islamic school and listen to coppersmiths hammering their work just as they have for generations. You'll eat lunch together at a traditional restaurant, then have the afternoon free to continue exploring on your own.

Fes to Casablanca to Marrakech
Depart for Casablanca, Morocco's economic center. You'll have free time for lunch along the Corniche with views of the Atlantic coast. See the impressive Hassan II Mosque from outside, an architectural work created by over 3,000 artisans. Then head to Marrakech in the afternoon, arriving later for check-in and rest.

- Day 13
Marrakech
Begin with a guided tour of Marrakech, one of Morocco's great imperial cities. Start at the Koutoubia Mosque, then visit the splendid Bahia Palace built in the 19th century by artisans from Fes. Walk through the old Jewish quarter and into Kissaria Square. Enter the lively Djemaa el-Fna Square where storytellers, snake charmers, musicians, and dancers perform. Explore the bustling souk to meet local craftspeople and visit a Berber pharmacy with natural remedies and argan products. Return to Djemaa el-Fna for free time, then eat lunch together at a traditional restaurant.

Marrakech to Rabat
Leave Marrakech for Rabat, Morocco's administrative capital and another imperial city. Visit the Hassan Tower, striking remains of an unfinished mosque surrounded by over 200 columns. See the Mausoleum of Mohammed V with its royal guards in colorful ceremonial uniforms on horseback. Take a walk through the Kasbah of the Oudayas with its white and blue houses and views over the Bouregreg River. In the evening, there's a night tour of the city followed by dinner at a local restaurant.

Rabat to Tangier to Costa del Sol
Leave early for Tangier to board the ferry back to Spain across the Strait of Gibraltar. When you arrive at the Costa del Sol, the tour staff will help with your transfer to accommodation. You'll have dinner and time to relax after the journey.

Costa del Sol to Granada

Madrid to Salamanca to Porto
