You'll arrive in Islamabad where your Crossroads Adventure representative meets you and takes you to the hotel. Depending on when you land, there's time to either rest or take a quick city orientation before the evening.

Islamabad to Skardu
Fly over the Himalayas to Skardu this morning, weather permitting. After checking in, you'll explore the Cold Desert with snowy mountain backdrops, then head to Lower Kachura Lake where orchards and peaks surround the water.

Skardu to Hussainabad
Travel from Skardu to the remote village of Hussainabad set among dramatic mountains. Once you settle into your guesthouse, take a short walk through the village to meet people and see how mountain communities live.

Hussainabad
Hike to Marsur Rock early in the day for panoramic views of Skardu Valley, often compared to Norway's Trolltunga. Spend time taking in the scenery, then make your way back down to Hussainabad for dinner.

Hussainabad to Raikot Bridge
Head west along the Indus through stark gorges and rugged terrain. You'll reach Raikot Bridge, which leads to Fairy Meadows, and stay overnight at a roadside lodge.

Raikot Bridge to Fairy Meadows
Take a jeep ride on one of the world's most difficult tracks to Tato Village, then trek through pine forests to Fairy Meadows. This is your first close look at Nanga Parbat.

Fairy Meadows
Start an all-day trek through alpine pastures and rocky trails to Nanga Parbat Base Camp, where you'll stand beneath the world's ninth-highest mountain. Return to Fairy Meadows after taking in the mountain views.

Fairy Meadows to Gilgit
Descend from Fairy Meadows back to Tato, then jeep to Raikot before driving on to Gilgit. By evening you'll have free time to wander through Gilgit Bazaar.

Gilgit to Naltar Valley
Drive to Naltar Valley known for alpine forests, meadows, and glacial lakes. You'll visit the Naltar Lakes by jeep and take short walks through the mountain valley.

Naltar Valley to Karimabad (Hunza)
Leave Naltar and continue along the Karakoram Highway toward Karimabad, where you're surrounded by Rakaposhi, Ultar Sar, and Diran peaks. Settle in for the night in this mountain setting.

Karimabad (Hunza)
Check out Hunza's historic sites including Baltit Fort and Altit Fort. Walk through Karimabad bazaar past terraced fields with mountain views. There's an optional cultural evening with local music if you're interested.

Karimabad to Gulmit
Head to Hopar Valley in the morning to see Bualtar Glacier, then continue north to Attabad Lake, a turquoise body of water created by a landslide. Arrive in Gulmit village for the night.

Gulmit
Explore upper Hunza visiting the Hussaini Suspension Bridge, one of the world's longest, plus Ghulkin village and glacier, Passu Cones viewpoint, and White Glacier. Return to Gulmit for the night.

Gulmit to Gilgit
Drive back to Gilgit, stopping along the Karakoram Highway for photos. You'll have free time in Gilgit to rest and explore the area.

Gilgit to Islamabad
Fly back to Islamabad this morning. After arriving, you'll transfer to your hotel with a free afternoon to rest or optionally explore the city.

Head to Islamabad International Airport for your departure flight. This marks the end of your adventure in Pakistan.
