Tokyo Airport Pick-up
Your driver meets you at Tokyo airport and takes you to your hotel. From Narita it's about an hour, or 30 minutes if you're flying into Haneda. Spend the rest of the day settling in and resting up after your flight.

Tokyo
After breakfast at your hotel, your guide takes you to Meiji Jingu Shrine, a quiet and spiritual spot. From there you'll head to Shibuya Crossing to see the famous intersection and the Hachiko Memorial Statue. Lunch happens at a trendy restaurant with omakase sushi or teppanyaki and sake. In the afternoon, you'll walk through Asakusa's traditional district, pass under the red Kaminarimon Gate, and take a 30-minute rickshaw ride through narrow backstreets before visiting Senso-ji Temple. By evening, you're at Roppongi Hills checking out the city views from the 52nd-floor observation deck and the Mori Arts Center on the 53rd floor.

Tokyo to Odawara - Mt. Fuji & Owakudani Valley - Lake Ashi
You'll start early with a 1.5-hour express train from your base to Odawara, then transfer to the Hakone Tozan Train which winds up the mountainside. Once you reach the top, you'll board a retro cable car followed by the Hakone Ropeway heading toward Owakudani Valley. A security guide leads a 40-minute volcanic exploration where you'll walk around the geothermal area and try the local specialty, black eggs boiled in the volcanic hot springs. After that, you're back on the ropeway for about 30 minutes with panoramic views of Lake Ashi below and Mt. Fuji in the distance on clear days. To wrap up, you'll take a relaxing 30-minute cruise across Lake Ashi before heading back to your Odawara hotel by local bus, arriving by early evening.

Odawara to Kyoto - Pure Water Temple & Gion
You'll travel by train from Odawara to Kyoto on your own, a journey that takes roughly 2 to 3 hours with your ticket already reserved and included. After arriving at Kyoto Station, your local guide meets you there and you'll see the iconic Kyoto Tower as you exit. Check into your hotel, then head out with your guide to visit the Pure Water Temple with its famous wooden stage. From there, you'll walk through the charming pedestrian streets of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, stopping to see the Yasaka Pagoda. Next comes a peaceful stroll through Maruyama Park before finishing at Yasaka Shrine, all part of your Gion walking tour that lets you soak in the traditional neighborhood atmosphere.

You start with breakfast, then head to Fushimi Inari Shrine to see the thousands of red torii gates stretching up the hillside. Next is the Golden Pavilion with its reflection in the Mirror Pond. After that, you visit Nijo Castle, the former home of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Late afternoon, a private car takes you to Osaka, roughly an hour and a half away. Once settled at your hotel, you explore Osaka's popular areas like Hozenji Yokocho, Shinsaibashi, and Dotonbori before heading back to rest.
