- Day 1
Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and get settled into your hotel with complimentary transfers included. If you're getting in early, there's an optional private walk through historic Athens where local storytellers share stories and you can sample Greek food along the way. Later in the evening, everyone gathers for a welcome reception and dinner at Kuzina restaurant. The rooftop terrace looks right out at the illuminated Acropolis, so you'll have great views while you eat.

- Day 2
Athens - Naxos
A licensed archaeologist leads you up the Acropolis to see the Parthenon with timed entry so you're not fighting crowds. After that, you head to Filopappou Hill where a lyre master gives you a musical interlude and lets you try playing the ancient instrument yourself. Lunch is a picnic of souvlaki overlooking the city, then you board a high-speed ferry to Naxos. You'll arrive in time for dinner and settle into your first night on the island.

Naxos
The morning starts with an easy hike through Tragea Valley, the green heart of Naxos. You'll walk from the weaving village of Moni through to Panagia Drossiani, a sixth-century chapel with rare frescoes, then continue down past olive groves and farmsteads to reach Halki village for lunch at a traditional taverna. Later on, a local family invites you over for a hands-on cooking class. You'll pick herbs from their garden and prepare island recipes, then sit down to share the meal with wine and good conversation.

Your options include sailing by catamaran to hidden coves and nearby islands, joining a marble mosaic workshop, taking an e-bike tour along the coast, making cheese with local farmers, or learning Naxian loom-weaving. In the evening, you'll head to the Elaiolithos Estate in the highlands for an exclusive folklore celebration with seasonal island produce and live bouzouki and violin music.

After lunch featuring island favourites, you board the high-speed ferry to Crete and watch Naxos fade into the Aegean as you travel. By late afternoon, you arrive at Kapsaliana Village Hotel, an restored 18th-century olive village, and have dinner with farm-to-table Cretan cuisine in the lantern-lit courtyard.

You get back to the hotel in the afternoon to relax, then have a light dinner under the Cretan stars.

After a traditional lunch in a family-run taverna, you head to Margarites, a hillside village known for pottery. In a master potter's workshop, you learn the rhythm of the wheel and shape your own ceramic piece. Back at the hotel, there's a private olive oil tour and tasting with an expert, then a farewell dinner in the village-hotel's private area.
