Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
You'll arrive in Delhi and connect with your trip leader at 6 pm. If your flight gets in earlier, there's an option to book an urban adventure and see some of the city on your own. After the welcome meeting wraps up, the group can head out for an optional dinner to meet everyone.

- Day 2
Delhi to Khajuraho
Your local leader takes you through Old Delhi starting with a cycle rickshaw ride through the busy streets. You'll stop at Jama Masjid, one of the oldest mosques in Delhi, then visit Sheeshganj Gurudwara to learn about Sikh traditions. After a chai break to rest, you board an overnight train heading to Khajuraho.

Khajuraho - Panna National Park
You arrive at Khajuraho Station and drive into Panna National Park. A naturalist guide takes you exploring to find waterfalls, forested areas, and open plains where tigers, spotted deer, leopards, and sloth bears roam. With over 200 bird species here, watch the skies and trees closely. An optional second morning safari can be prebooked for more wildlife chances.

- Day 4
Panna National Park to Bandhavgarh National Park
If you prebooked a morning safari, head out early to explore Panna before traveling to Bandhavgarh National Park and Tiger Reserve. This spot has the highest concentration of royal Bengal tigers in India. By evening you're settled at your forest resort, listening to the jungle sounds around you.

- Day 5
Bandhavgarh National Park
Early morning you set off on safari with a naturalist, searching for royal Bengal tigers and spotting white tigers, leopards, wild boars, gaurs, and deer. The park's mix of tropical forest, swamps, cliffs, and grasslands draws rich birdlife and energetic langurs. You can optionally prebook an afternoon safari for additional viewing time.

- Day 6
Bandhavgarh National Park to Jabalpur
After breakfast you leave Bandhavgarh and head to Jabalpur, which sits on the banks of the Holy River Narmada. Your leader guides you on a walking tour to get your bearings, then you have free time in the afternoon. At dusk you attend the Aarti ceremony at Gauri Ghat, a spiritual fire ritual similar to ones in Haridwar and Varanasi.

Jabalpur to Satpura Mountain Range
You depart Jabalpur and drive through central India toward the Satpura Mountain Range. After settling in, you head out on a night safari with a naturalist guide. Driving through the forested ranges, you search for leopards, flying squirrels, and flying foxes that come out after dark.

- Day 8
Satpura National Park
Following breakfast, an optional prebooked morning safari takes you to see waterfalls, canyons, and natural pools where sloth bears, giant squirrels, deer, monkeys, and hundreds of birds appear. You return for group lunch and rest time. In the evening a boat safari moves through the park as the sun sets, searching for jungle cats, fruit bats, and flying foxes from the water.

- Day 9
Satpura National Park to Agra
The drive from Satpura to Bhopal is long, so bring books, music, and games to keep occupied. You'll stop for lunch in Bhopal, then board a train to Agra. When you arrive, you're free to explore and pick your own dinner spot, though your leader has solid local suggestions.

- Day 10
Agra
Breakfast in Agra, then you head to Keoladeo National Park for a rickshaw safari with a naturalist guide. This bird sanctuary hosts 260 bird species plus deer, antelope, and wild boar. Back in Agra, you visit the Taj Mahal with a local guide, exploring this 17th-century marble structure and UNESCO site, then watch the sunset light up the marble. An optional group dinner wraps the evening.

Agra to Delhi
You explore Agra Fort, the impressive dark red sandstone structure that served as fortress, palace, and prison. Inside are throne rooms and intricately decorated mosques. Lunch happens at Sheroes Hangout, a social enterprise supporting women survivors of acid attacks, where you'll have vegetarian food. Early evening you board a train to Delhi, and after arrival check into your hotel with time for a nightcap with fellow travelers.
