- Day 1
Rome
You'll get transferred to your hotel when you arrive, and your guide will check you in with all the details you need. Later that evening, head over to Via Cavour where there's a good selection of restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese, and international food so you can grab dinner based on what sounds good.

- Day 2
Rome
A three-hour guided tour starts your day with walking through Imperial Rome combined with a bus ride, taking in the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. You'll reach Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. where the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel are optional to visit. Evening brings a transfer to Trastevere for dinner, heading back to the hotel around 8:30 p.m.

- Day 3
Rome to Florence
Starting north from Rome, you'll travel through nice countryside on the way to Florence. Once there, check out Piazzale Michelangelo for city views from above. Walking into the historic center gives you time for lunch before a guided tour hits Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. The afternoon is free to walk around on your own, and the evening has various restaurants with international options.

- Day 4
Florence to Venice
Crossing the Apennines toward Venice, you'll see mountain landscapes the whole way. A boat takes you across the Giudecca Canal to reach Venice itself. Your local guide shows you St. Mark's Square and then the Murano Glass Factory to see how they make glass using traditional methods. After some free time to explore, you'll settle into accommodation in the Mestre district.

Venice - Innsbruck - Kitzbühel - Salzburg
Leaving Venice for Austria means driving through mountain scenery. Innsbruck is your first stop where you'll walk through the historic center and have lunch. From there, scenic mountain roads take you through Kitzbuhel, a ski resort village, before continuing on to Salzburg where you'll arrive by evening. Note that if the group is small, a train from Venice to Innsbruck might replace the drive.

Vienna to Budapest

Prague - Pilsen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt
Starting early from Prague, you stop in Pilsen, a city known for its beer tradition. The historic center has the Old Town Square, cathedral, Plague Column, and a Renaissance town hall to see. Crossing into Germany means following part of the Romantic Road to Rothenburg, a fairy-tale village considered one of Germany's finest. Frankfurt, Germany's financial center, is next.
