Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech
Your journey begins in Marrakech with a scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains where you'll see traditional Berber villages and historic kasbahs. You'll stop at Telouet, a former kasbah with intricate tilework, then continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site with clay buildings that rise from the riverbank. From there, head to Taourirt and Skoura to visit the Kasbah of Ameridhil before settling into Dades Valley. Later in the afternoon, you'll explore villages scattered through the valley and spot the unusual 'monkey toes' rock formation before watching the sun set over the Dades gorges.

- Day 2
Dades Valley to Merzouga
After breakfast at your riad, you're heading to Todgha Gorges where towering 300-meter cliffs frame Berber villages below. Rock climbers often use this spot, and the views across the valley are really something. From there, drive toward Merzouga with a lunch stop in Tinjdad, then pass through Sahara oases at Erfoud and Er-Rissani. Once you reach Merzouga, relax with mint tea and walk through the village if you want. Later, head barefoot across the dunes to catch the sunset, then settle into your desert camp for the night under open sky.

- Day 3
Merzouga to Fes
You'll wake early to see the sunrise over the dunes before eating breakfast at camp. Then it's time to drive toward Fes through Ziz Valley, stopping in Erfoud to check out fossils from the surrounding area. The route takes you through Ziz Gorges with rocky passages and into the Tafilalt oases. During lunch in Errachidia, you'll experience local Berber hospitality. After that, continue along Cedar Forest edges where Barbary Apes live, then arrive in Ifrane, a modern mountain town with a Swiss feel. You'll reach Fes by evening and stay overnight.

Fes
After breakfast, meet your local guide for a walking tour through Fes medina, one of the world's oldest living cities. You'll navigate narrow alleyways packed with donkeys and mules carrying goods and goods, wander past spice stalls and perfume shops with strong, complex smells. The leather tanneries are particularly interesting since artisans still use techniques passed down for centuries, hand-treating hides in stone vats. Later, you'll have dinner at a restaurant inside the medina before heading back to your hotel.

Fes to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, drive to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains of northwest Morocco. The entire medina is painted in white and blue, creating a unique atmosphere that feels different from other Moroccan cities. You'll walk through winding streets, stop at local markets selling handicrafts and textiles, and have plenty of time for photos with the mountain backdrop. The town is quiet compared to larger cities, so you can spend your evening wandering at a relaxed pace before settling in for the night.

Chefchaouen - Rabat - Casablanca
After breakfast in Chefchaouen, drive four hours to Rabat, Morocco's capital. You'll see several landmarks including Bab Challah, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V with its green tiled roof, one of the royal palace gates, and the Oudaya Kasbah with views over the Atlantic coast. From Rabat, continue to Casablanca where you'll stay overnight at your hotel in this coastal city.

Casablanca to Marrakech
Start your final day visiting Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca's most famous structure with its minaret reaching high above the city. After a three-hour drive south, you'll arrive in Marrakech with free time to explore on your own. Check out the Majorelle Gardens with their bright blue buildings and exotic plants, the Koutoubia Tower dominating the skyline, the Saadian Tombs with intricate decoration, and Bahia Palace with its sprawling courtyards. Depending on your flight schedule, you'll either head to the airport or return to your hotel.
