- Day 1
Guangzhou to Zhangjiajie
Your guide will pick you up at 6:30am from your Guangzhou hotel and take you to the station for a 6-hour bullet train ride to Zhangjiajie. Once you arrive and check into your hotel in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, you'll have the rest of the day to walk around with your guide and get oriented to the region.

- Day 2
Zhangjiajie
After a one-hour drive, you'll reach Zhangjiajie National Park and take the high-speed elevator up to Yuanjiajie summit, where you can see the Heaven and Earth pillar that inspired the movie Avatar. From there, head to Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve for some excellent photo spots and wide views. Later, you'll ride an electric train through Shilihualang (10-Mile-Gallery) one way, then walk for about 30 minutes on the way back.

Zhangjiajie to Fenghuang
You'll drive to Tianmen Mountain and walk through the Gateway of Heaven, which has a famous glass walkway. During the day, the Tianmen Mountain Cableway takes you past Tongtian Avenue, Tianmen Cave, Tianmen Temple, the ghost-valley plank road, and Yunmeng Fairy Summit. The cableway itself is the world's longest at 7455 meters with a 518 meter drop. After that, it's either a 3-hour car ride or 1-hour fast train to Fenghuang, a charming old town built along the Tuo River with traditional wooden houses. You'll explore the well-preserved architecture and take in the evening lights.

- Day 4
Fenghuang to Guangzhou
Spend your morning freely wandering through Fenghuang's old town, checking out the wooden houses, local temples, shops, and the Tuo River. After lunch, you'll board a 5-hour bullet train back to Guangzhou. When you arrive, a driver will take you to your hotel and your trip will be finished.
