Itinerary
- Day 1
Kigali
When you land at Kigali International Airport, you'll get transferred to your hotel to settle in. After dropping off your bags, the afternoon opens up for a guided walking tour through the city. You'll see the Kigali Genocide Memorial and the Campaign Against Genocide exhibition, which provide important context about Rwanda's history. From there, the tour continues through local markets where you can get a feel for daily life in the city. By evening, head back to your 4-star hotel for dinner and rest after your travel day.

Volcanoes National Park
Start with breakfast at the hotel, then check out and begin a morning city tour that includes the Kigali Genocide Memorial and Inema Arts Gallery. From there, you'll drive to Musanze and enter Volcanoes National Park, checking in and having lunch. In the afternoon, head out to see the twin lakes of Bureau and Ruhondo before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Golden Monkey Trek
After an early breakfast, you'll head to Volcanoes National Park for a Golden Monkey trek briefing starting at 07h00, with the actual trek beginning at 08h00. By early afternoon you'll be back at the hotel for lunch. Later, visit the exclusive Gorilla Guardians Village, then return for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trek
You'll have an early breakfast, then travel to Kinigi Park Headquarters for a Gorilla Trek briefing at 07h00 before the guided trek starts at 08h00. After returning to the hotel for lunch, the afternoon is free for resting or you can optionally visit the Dian Fossey Foundation if interested. Dinner and overnight follow.

Departure
Breakfast at the lodge comes first, with checkout at 10h30. You'll travel back to Kigali and arrive in time for lunch at Pili Pili Restaurant. If there's time before your departure, stop by Haute Baso shop to browse unique art pieces and crafts. Then head to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
