Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll get transferred to your hotel when you arrive, and the rest of the day is yours to settle in. Check the information boards at the hotel reception to find out when your tour officially starts.
- Day 2
Thermopylae - Kastraki - Meteora - Kalambaka
Head north early in the morning through Greece's scenic regions. You'll stop at Kamena Vourla, a seaside town, then make your way to Thermopylae Mountain Pass to see the historic site. After that, you'll have free time in Kastraki village for lunch and walking around. In the afternoon, tour the UNESCO-listed Meteora monasteries including a visit inside one of them, then drive to Kalambaka for dinner.

Delphi - Hosios Loukas Monastery - Athens
Travel south through Thessaly's landscapes toward Delphi. Spend time exploring the archaeological site overlooking the Gulf of Corinth and grab lunch there. Later, you'll visit the Byzantine Hosios Loukas Monastery to see its 11th-century mosaics. From there, continue on to Athens, arriving in the evening.

Athens
Take a guided tour of Athens starting with the Presidential Mansion and moving through the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games happened. You'll also see the National Library and walk through the city center squares. Check out the newer Olympic neighborhoods, then head to the Plaka district with its Greek tavernas and narrow streets.

Tripoli - Olympia - Patras
Head to the Peloponnese with a stop at the Corinth Canal, an impressive feat of late 19th-century engineering. Pass through the mountains to Tripoli and explore Aeros Square. Then visit Olympia's Archaeological Site for a guided tour covering the Temple of Zeus, Stadium, Gymnasium, and Arena. Continue to Patras, Greece's third largest city, to see its medieval fortress and cathedral. Dinner is included.

Nafpaktos - Mycenae - Acrocorinth - Athens
After breakfast, cross the Rio-Antirrio cable-stayed bridge connecting the Peloponnese to mainland Greece. Stop in Nafpaktos to walk through its Venetian fortress and harbor area. Then visit Mycenae, the ancient citadel and birthplace of European civilization, with time for lunch and exploring. You'll tour the Fortress of Acrocorinth and see its ancient temple of Aphrodite. Stop again at Corinth Canal before heading back to Athens for the evening.
