- Day 1
Zurich
You'll get transferred to your hotel and have the afternoon to settle in. Stop by the hotel reception to check for information about when your tour starts.

Zurich - Berne - Glacier 3000 - Montreux - Geneva
Head to Bern and spend time at the Rose Garden viewpoint, then wander the historic city center. From there, drive through mountain scenery toward Glacier 3000 where you'll take a cable car up, have lunch with views, and walk across a suspension bridge. Later you'll travel along Lake Geneva through Montreux and arrive in Geneva by evening.

- Day 3
Geneva - Lausanne - Gruyeres - Fribourg
After breakfast, take a panoramic tour of Geneva hitting the Palace of Nations, the English Garden with its famous flower clock, and the Jet d'Eau fountain. Then head to Lausanne to see the Olympic Park. From there, drive to the walled town of Gruyeres and visit the Cailler Chocolate Factory for a tasting. You'll end the day in Fribourg, a bilingual city.

- Day 4
Fribourg - Interlaken - Aare Gorge - Lugano - Chiasso
Drive through Bern canton with a photo stop at either Schwarzenburg Castle or a viewpoint overlooking Lake Thun or Lake Brienz. Continue to Interlaken, then explore the Aare Gorge (admission and lunch included). Next you'll cross the Susten Pass with stops for glacier views, go through the Gotthard Tunnel, visit the lakeside village of Gandria, take a boat to Lugano, and reach Chiasso by late afternoon.

Chiasso - Bellinzona - Altdorf - Lucerne
After breakfast, head to Bellinzona to see its three medieval castles (UNESCO-listed) and walk through the city center. You'll cross the Gotthard Pass with a photo stop as you head back toward German-speaking Switzerland. Stop in Altdorf, William Tell's birthplace, for free time and lunch. Finish in Lucerne where you can explore the Kapellbrucke, Lion Monument, cathedral, Jesuit Church, and old town.

Leave along Lake of the Four Cantons toward Einsiedeln to see its baroque abbey, an important pilgrimage site. Stop at Heididorf to check out Heidi's House and the surrounding scenery. Continue into Liechtenstein's capital, Vaduz, for free time and lunch below the castle. End in Feldkirch, Austria, a medieval walled city with time to explore.

Travel to St. Gallen to visit the abbey library (admission included), which features a baroque hall with 170,000 volumes and an Egyptian mummy. Continue along Lake Constance to the German city of Constance with its medieval old town, cathedral, and Market Square. Return to Switzerland to see Stein am Rhein, known for its painted buildings. Then visit the Rhine Falls (admission included), Europe's most powerful waterfalls, before arriving in Zurich by evening.

Take a two-hour scenic cruise on Lake Zurich with stops at charming villages, getting off in Rapperswil to see its medieval castle. Head back to Zurich by train to experience Swiss rail travel.
