- Day 1
Madrid
You'll arrive in Madrid and head straight to your hotel from the airport. After settling in, check with hotel reception about the welcome meeting happening this evening. Later on, you're transferred to Plaza Mayor and La Latina, where the neighborhood has tons of tapas bars and restaurants serving everything from Spanish food to Indian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cuisine.

- Day 2
Madrid
Start with a comprehensive tour of central Madrid hitting Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. From there, head to Retiro Park to see the lake and Palacio de Cristal. Your admission to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid, is included. Spend the rest of the afternoon free to do what you like before heading back to your hotel in the evening.

- Day 3
Madrid to Granada
You'll depart Madrid early and travel south through La Mancha to the village of Puerto Lápice, which feels like something from Don Quixote stories. Continue into Andalusia through the Despeñaperos pass and arrive in Granada for lunch (included). In the afternoon, explore the Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens with a local guide if you booked that option, or visit the Royal Alcázar of Seville instead.

- Day 4
Granada to Rabat
Leave Granada and head across the Costa del Sol to Algeciras or Tarifa to board a modern ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar. Remember you'll carry your own luggage since the bus stays behind. Once in Morocco, travel through beautiful landscapes and stop in Asilah, a walled city on the Atlantic coast with a fascinating pirate history. After lunch, continue to Rabat, arriving by evening for included dinner.

- Day 5
Rabat to Marrakech
Begin with a panoramic tour of Rabat to see the Royal Palace, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. By midday, head to Casablanca for a short city tour with a local guide, including a look at the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque. Later, travel to Marrakech and take a traditional Kalesa ride to Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Included dinner is waiting when you arrive.

- Day 7
Marrakech to Boumalne Dades
Cross the Atlas Mountains with their high peaks, often covered in snow, moving away from Marrakech's palm groves. You'll see small Berber villages built into deep gorge edges. Stop at the fortified village of Ait Benhaddou, then pause in Ouarzazate to see its impressive Kasbah. Continue through the Valley of Roses to reach Boumalne Dades. Included dinner is provided, though winter road closures may require itinerary changes.

- Day 8
Boumalne Dades to Erfoud
Travel through the Sahara Desert with thousands of palm trees, rocky plains merging into oases, adobe villages, and ancient fortresses. Visit the Todgha Gorge with its towering 100-meter walls on both sides. Stop at a small adobe town near Khorbat to learn about the desert community supported by the Europamundo Foundation. Lunch is included. An optional off-road excursion to the sand dunes for sunset is available if you're interested.

- Day 9
Erfoud to Fez
Depart early from Erfoud and cross the Atlas Mountains through dramatic gorges and landscapes. You'll traverse a high, chilly plateau where nomadic shepherds live. Brief stop in Midelt, a commercial town known for agriculture. Included lunch comes at a stop in the Middle Atlas by a lake in a beautiful natural setting. The scenery gets more dramatic as you enter a forest region where snow is common in winter. Near Azrou, visit the House of Cedars in a national park to see monkey colonies. Continue to Bhalil, a peaceful Berber town with colorful streets and cave houses. Arrive in Fez and view the city from the Marinid Tombs before heading to your hotel. Included dinner is served.

- Day 10
Fez to Tangier
Tour Fez by entering through the Bronze Gates of the Royal Palace and exploring the Jewish quarter with its lively souks and the famous Tanners' Quarter. The Medina preserves the traditional Arab atmosphere better than most places. Conclude with included lunch at a historic palace in the Medina. In the afternoon, travel north through Morocco on a modern highway and reach Tangier by evening. Included dinner is provided.

Have free time in Tangier for last-minute shopping if you like. Board a ferry back to Spain, carrying your own luggage since the bus doesn't go on board. Arrive in Algeciras or Tarifa and continue to Seville, arriving in the evening. Included dinner awaits.

Seville
Start with a city tour of Seville, seeing the cathedral with its famous Giralda, the Guadalquivir River banks, and the neighborhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana. After the tour, relax on an included boat ride on the Guadalquivir River with great panoramic views. In the evening, there's an optional flamenco tablao if you want to experience that.

Leave Seville and follow the Guadalquivir Valley to Córdoba, famous for its past as capital of the Caliphate. Visit the Mosque-Cathedral with included admission, guided by a local. Explore the charming Jewish Quarter with its narrow streets and flower-filled patios. After lunch, head into Castilian lands with a stop in Consuegra to see 12 giant windmills next to the castle overlooking the La Mancha plain. Visit the Rucio Mill before heading to Madrid.
