Rhine - Moselle Valleys to Dortmund
Start with a Rhine River cruise between Rüdesheim and Sankt Goar, two sections with really nice scenery along the river. You'll stop in Cochem for lunch where there's an impressive castle overlooking the town. From there, head to Cologne to visit the Gothic Cathedral before arriving in Dortmund for the night.

Fairy Tale Route - Hanover
Today you're traveling through towns that inspired the Brothers Grimm tales. Walk through Trendelburg's medieval castle and see the Rapunzel Tower, then explore Höxter and the ancient Corvey Abbey. After that, stop at Polle Castle ruins, then head to Hamelin, famous for the Pied Piper story. You'll end up in Hanover with free time near the old town hall.

After breakfast, you'll check out Goslar with its beautiful wooden architecture and ancient walls. Continue to Quedlinburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 2,100 half-timbered houses to wander through. Later you travel to Berlin, arriving in the evening.

Later you arrive in Budapest mid-afternoon and head to the pedestrian area with charming traditional restaurants featuring live music.

From there head through scenic forests and rolling hills into Poland, arriving in Krakow by the end of the day.
