- Day 1
Rome
You'll get transferred to your hotel where your guide meets you and goes over the essentials. Later in the evening, head over to Via Cavour to check out Rome's dining scene. There's a good mix of restaurants around there offering Italian, Indian, Chinese, and international food, so you can pick whatever sounds good to you.

Rome
This morning starts with a three-hour guided tour that combines walking through Imperial Rome and a panoramic bus ride. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, the Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour ends at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. After that, you'll transfer to Trastevere for dinner before heading back to your hotel around 8:30 p.m.

Rome to Florence
You'll travel north from Rome to Florence and start at Piazzale Michelangelo for views of the city. From there, walk down to the historic center for lunch. Later, a guided walking tour takes you through Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. You'll have free time to wander around this open-air museum at your own pace. Plenty of dinner options are scattered throughout the area.

Florence to Venice
Leave Florence and cross the Apennines, enjoying the mountain landscapes along the way. Once you arrive in Venice, you'll take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to the island. A local guide takes you through St. Mark's Square, then you'll visit the Murano Glass Factory to see how they make glass using traditional techniques. After that, you have free time to explore before settling into your accommodation in the Mestre district.

Venice to Salzburg

Salzburg to Vienna
This morning you'll explore Salzburg, Mozart's city with its Renaissance and Baroque center dominated by a grand castle. Then travel through lakes and mountains to St. Wolfgang, a pilgrimage site. Continue to Traunkirchen on the beautiful Traunsee Lake and take an included cruise that passes four of the lake's castles before disembarking in Gmunden. From there, drive to Vienna, arriving in the evening.

Vienna

In the evening, there's an optional Magyar show with dinner if you're interested.

Budapest to Prague

Dinner is at one of the many restaurants offering different cuisines before heading back to the hotel.

Prague
