Athens
Your arrival in Athens begins with a transfer to your hotel. This afternoon, you'll have time to get settled and grab tour information from the hotel reception. It's a good opportunity to get your bearings and rest after travel.

- Day 2
Athens
A guided city tour takes you through Athens starting with the Presidential Mansion and the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games happened back in 1896. You'll see the National Library and various city squares, then walk through neighborhoods built after 2004. After that, head to the Acropolis. By evening, transfer to Plaka's historic streets where you can check out Greek tavernas and soak in the local atmosphere.

- Day 3
Athens - Kamena Vourla - Kalambaka
Early departure north takes you through Kamena Vourla, a seaside town with nice views, then to Thermopylae Mountain Pass where one of history's most famous battles occurred. You'll stop in the village of Kastraki and have free time for lunch with valley views around you. Next, explore Meteora, a UNESCO site, with admission to one monastery included. Dinner happens in Kalambaka.

- Day 4
Kalambaka - Delphi - Athens
Heading south through the Thessaly region, you'll reach Delphi and its archaeological site overlooking the Gulf of Corinth. Free time lets you grab lunch here. After that, visit Hosios Loukas Monastery, known for its Byzantine architecture and 11th-century mosaics from around 1000 AD. The drive back to Athens takes the evening, arriving late.

- Day 5
Athens - Corinth - Poros - Epidaurus - Nafplio
This day explores the Peloponnese Peninsula, starting with a brief stop at the Corinth Canal. A 15-minute ferry from Galatas takes you to Poros island where you'll have free time to walk around old houses and the Clock Tower, then grab lunch. Next, the Theater of Epidaurus, a 2,400-year-old structure still used today, has admission included. From there, head to Nafplio, a coastal city with a citadel and Venetian fortress. Free time to explore, and dinner is provided.

- Day 6
Nafplio - Tripoli - Olympia - Patras
Traveling through the Peloponnese mountains to Tripoli, you'll find free time at Areos Square and its cafes. Continue to Olympia where the first Olympic Games started in 776 BC. The archaeological site includes a guided tour and ticket, showing you the Temple of Zeus, Stadium, Gymnasium, and Arena. Next stops are Patras, Greece's third-largest city with a medieval fortress and major cathedral. Dinner is included.

- Day 7
Patras - Igoumenitsa - Brindisi
After breakfast, cross the Rio-Antirrio suspension bridge connecting the Peloponnese to mainland Greece. Travel through Central Greece and Epirus regions to Igoumenitsa for a short walk around. At 2:00 PM, board a modern ferry across the Ionian Sea. You'll reach Brindisi, Italy around 9:00 PM for an overnight stay.

- Day 8
Brindisi - Alberobello - Matera - Naples
Two Italian towns are on today's agenda. Alberobello shows off trulli, those distinctive cone-shaped stone houses that form a UNESCO site. Then it's on to Matera where the Sassi di Marata, ancient dwellings carved into rock, reveal thousands of years of history as one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited settlements, also UNESCO-listed. Lunch is included in Matera. Afterward, drive through mountain landscapes in Basilicata and Campania, arriving in Naples by evening with time to explore.

- Day 9
Naples - Capri - Sorrento - Salerno
From Naples port, board a ferry to Capri island. You can take the funicular up to Capri town for a stroll and nice views. After lunch, reboard the ferry for Sorrento, a tourist town at the base of a cliff, where you have free time to walk around. Then continue to the Gulf of Salerno and settle into Salerno for the night.

- Day 10
Salerno - Paola - Messina - Taormina
Head south through Cilento National Park with beautiful scenery around you. Stop in Paola on the Tyrrhenian Sea to visit the Sanctuary of St. Francis of Paola and have free time for lunch in the historic center. From there, take a short ferry to Sicily from Villa San Giovanni. When you reach Messina, there's time to walk around the cathedral. The day ends in Taormina with dinner included.

Taormina - Giardini Naxos - Villa Romana del Casale - Palermo
Start early at Giardini Naxos, Sicily's first Greek settlement from 734 BC, with a seafront promenade and beaches to check out. Then explore Taormina's old town with its Greek Theater and views over the landscape. After lunch, the Roman Villa of Casale includes admission and a guided tour, showing 4th-century architecture and mosaics. Cross through Sicily's mountainous center to reach Palermo by evening. Dinner is provided.

Travel to Monreale to see its cathedral, a UNESCO site known for golden mosaics covering the interior. The afternoon is yours to spend however you like.
