Itinerary
- Day 1
Paris - Giverny - Rouen - Arromanches - Caen
You'll head out early from Paris toward Normandy, with a stop in Giverny to walk through Monet's House and gardens (your admission is included). The drive takes you next to Rouen, where you can wander the medieval streets and see the cathedral, with time to grab lunch in town. After that, you're heading to Arromanches to check out the historic WWII landing beaches and get a sense of the area's significance. By evening you'll reach Caen, where you have some free time to walk around the central district and get your bearings.

You're leaving early to head toward Mont-Saint-Michel, the island city known for its dramatic setting and iconic abbey that you'll explore. From there, you'll travel to Fougères to spend time walking through the medieval cobblestone streets and stopping for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you continue on to Chartres to see its Gothic cathedral before the final drive back to Paris, where you'll arrive around 8:30 p.m.
