Rome
This morning you'll join a three-hour guided tour that combines walking through Imperial Rome with a bus ride showing you the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, and Baths of Caracalla. By around 11:00 a.m., the tour wraps up at Vatican City. After that, head to Trastevere for dinner and you'll return to the hotel by 8:30 p.m.

Rome to Florence
You'll head north from Rome through the countryside toward Florence. Once you arrive, start at Piazzale Michelangelo where you get those high views over the entire city and surrounding hills. From there, walk down into the historic center and grab lunch somewhere in the area. After eating, you'll join a guided walking tour that takes you through the main spots like Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. The rest of the afternoon is yours to wander around on your own before dinner. There are plenty of restaurants throughout the center to choose from depending on what you're in the mood for.

Florence to Venice
Today you'll cross the Apennines toward Venice, passing through mountains on the way. After arriving, take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to reach the Island of Venice. A local guide will walk you through St. Mark's Square, then you'll head to the Murano Glass Factory to watch glass-making demonstrations. Later you have time to explore on your own before heading to your hotel in the Mestre district.

Zurich to Grindelwald to Lucerne to Zurich
Today features Alpine mountains and clear lakes throughout the drive. Later you'll head to Lucerne to see the city before returning to Zurich for the night.

Continue toward Berlin, passing through Marienborn, the historic border that separated East and West Germany until 1990. You'll arrive in Berlin later this evening.

Berlin
