Itinerary
- Day 1
Hotel to Hoang Su Phi
Your guide and driver pick you up at 7:00 AM for the drive north to Hoang Su Phi. The six-and-a-half-hour journey takes you through winding mountain roads and past rural villages, with a lunch stop somewhere along the route. By late afternoon you'll arrive at Panhou Retreat eco-resort, which sits in the Song Chay Mountains. After checking in, there's time to relax around the property before dinner at the resort.

- Day 2
Hoang Su Phi
After breakfast, you'll start hiking through the surrounding hillsides with your guide. The morning includes walking past terraced rice fields and stopping at a Red Dao village to learn about their herbal practices and traditional customs. Once lunch is done, the afternoon has more trekking ahead across rice terraces, tea plantations, and forested paths. You'll also visit a Dao Tunic village before heading back to Panhou Retreat in the late afternoon. Dinner is at the resort.

- Day 3
Hoang Su Phi to Hanoi
You'll have a relaxed breakfast and can spend the morning at Panhou Retreat before checking out around 10:00 AM. The drive back to Hanoi takes the scenic route through mountain passes, valleys, and tea hills. There's a lunch stop at a local restaurant partway through. As you head south, the landscape shifts from misty mountains to delta towns. You'll roll into Hanoi around 6:00 PM, check into your hotel, and have the rest of the evening free.
