Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
After your hotel pickup, you'll head out to the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramid of Khufu along with the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. A guide will walk you through the ancient Egyptian engineering behind these structures. You'll get a panoramic photo stop and have the option to take a camel ride if that interests you. From there, you'll check out the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Around lunch time, you'll eat at a local Egyptian restaurant before heading to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where King Tutankhamun's treasures and royal mummies are on display. You'll have some free time to shop and take more photos before returning to your hotel by evening.
