Itinerary
- Day 1
Djerba
You'll arrive in Tunisia and get transferred to your hotel on Djerba island. The afternoon is yours to relax, walk around the beach, or just settle in. Later that evening, you'll meet everyone else on the tour at a group welcome dinner where your tour leader explains what the week has in store.

Djerba
After breakfast, you'll head out to see Djerba's cultural spots including the pottery village of Guellala, El Ghriba Synagogue, and Djerbahood open-air art gallery. You'll also wander through the souks of Houmt Souk and pick up some local goods. Come evening, there's a group sunset aperitif and dinner, then you can head to a local nightclub if you're up for some dancing.

Djerba to Ksar Ghilane
You're heading inland to the Berber region today. You'll check out the cliffside village of Chenini and Ksar Hadada (that Star Wars filming location), then continue to the desert oasis of Ksar Ghilane. There's free time to swim in natural hot springs and learn to make traditional sand bread at a desert camp. You'll sleep in tents under the stars and have a Bedouin-style evening.

Sahara Desert Camel Caravan
Starting with breakfast in the desert, you'll then travel to Douz to meet your camel guides for an actual caravan journey into the Sahara. After a picnic lunch out in the dunes, you'll help build camp by pitching tents and gathering wood for the fire. Dinner gets cooked together over open flames, and you'll spend the night sharing stories under the stars in complete solitude.

Sahara to Tozeur
Following desert breakfast, you'll drive across the Chott El Jerid salt lake and arrive in Tozeur. Check into your hotel and walk through the old medina. The afternoon is free to relax at the pool and spa, or you can join an optional 4x4 tour that takes you to mountain oases and another Star Wars location.

Berber Villages and Troglodyte Homes
This day focuses on southern Tunisia's underground world. You'll start in the Berber village of Tamazret, meet locals, and tour a troglodyte home carved into the earth. After that, you visit Hotel Sidi Idriss (another Star Wars spot), then have a traditional home-cooked lunch with a local family. You'll settle in at Dar Sana guesthouse for the night with a relaxed evening by the fire.

Departure
