- mario· May 26th, 2025The Depart travel services by Mr Ayman was attentive to my needs during the tour. He made sure everything was in order from my arrival to my departure. To I thank you Mr Ayman for your concern and attention given to me. Your company is do highly recommended. Mr Mahmoud, whom you assign as my private guide was so accommodating to my need. He really knows where to go to see theses interesting places in Tunisia. Since I loved history, He brought to these places that is not even part of the tour. He tweak our guided trip to make it more desirable on my part. He communicates well and did explan some history of the places we went. He also brought me to nice local Berber restaurant and taste the best delicacies that I never had before in my life. With the travels we had. I felt secured and enjoyed so much of his company. Tunisia to me was one of the best place I've ever been in Africa and the middle East So muchh to see and there are more to explore. The traces of the Roman empireShow more

Asked on January 12th, 2024Will the tour proceed as planned on March 2, 2024, according to the itinerary provided online? Is it possible for me to join the group adventures as a solo traveler? Are participants required to bring their own sleeping bags and water, or are these provided?
- Depart Travel ServicesOperator•Written January 2024
You are the 1st person interested in this date but we can still confirm a solo trek with a camel guide. During the tour, for hygiene reasons, it is better that you bring your sleeping bag. All water and food are provided by us.

Traveler•Written January 2024Is there any possibility that the tour will be cancelled due to the number of participants? If so, when will we know if the tour is cancelled? Are the starting and ending points of the tour in Djerba? I noticed online that there might be an option of Tunis. Can you confirm this? Are there any additional fees during the tour, such as for insurance or hotel accommodations?
- Depart Travel ServicesOperator•Written January 2024
This tour is 100% guaranteed even if you remain the only participant (except if there is any force majeure). Yes the starting and ending point are in Djerba. It is possible to plan transfers (pick up and drop off) from Tunis but this implies extra fees (500 euros). There is no extra fees for insurance or hotel accommodation onsite but it would be always better if you also have a travel insurance from your end (like covid +).
