Winnipeg to Churchill
An early flight takes you from Winnipeg to Churchill, then a private charter heads to Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge for your three-night stay. Grab lunch at the lodge, receive a safety orientation about polar bear country, then head out on your first afternoon excursion along the coastline. The evening brings appetizers and a tundra-inspired dinner, possibly with a local guide presentation and northern lights if conditions allow (temperature around 32°F/-0°C).

- Day 3
Churchill
Start with breakfast while your guide outlines the day's plans. Depending on polar bear sightings, you'll either explore the tidal flats and Hudson Bay shoreline by foot and all-terrain vehicles, or stay at the lodge. Either way, you'll have plenty of time for wildlife photography. Return in the evening for dinner and time to relax by the fire.

Churchill

Churchill to New York
A final breakfast at the lodge precedes your air transfer back to Churchill. Keep your camera ready during the flight for aerial views. Once in Churchill, explore the town with a guide, visiting the Parks Canada exhibit, Itsanitaq Museum, and Polar Bear Jail. The day ends at the wharf where your Discovery Yacht awaits. Board with champagne, settle into your suite, then meet fellow guests for a welcome toast and introductory presentation.

Hudson Bay
Begin with a spa treatment or guided yoga session in the PURE studio. As the Scenic Eclipse sails through Hudson Bay, watch for beluga whales, Arctic seals, and possibly polar bears swimming near the ship. Later, attend the evening recap where the Discovery Leader discusses upcoming activities. You can dine in your suite with your butler bringing your nightcap.

Cap Wolstenholme - Erik Cove
Visit Cap Wolstenholme, a striking stretch of cliffs featuring a towering rampart on its western side. In summer, thick-billed murres nest here in large numbers. Later, sail to Erik Cove with its towering cliffs and floating icebergs. Watch for seals, whales, seabirds, and possibly polar bears while exploring by zodiac.

St. Anthony
Arrive in St. Anthony on Newfoundland's Great Northern Peninsula, a charming town with maritime heritage. The Grenfell Mission, established in the early 20th century, provided medical services to remote communities. Nearby L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site marks the only known Norse village in North America from around 1000 AD. Watch for whales in the coastal waters during their migration.
