You'll arrive in Paris this afternoon and board your 5-star river cruise ship. If this is your first time here, you can walk through some of the major neighborhoods and get a feel for the city. If you've been before, this is a chance to revisit places you loved or check out something new before the ship departs.

Les Andelys
The ship moves gently along the Seine toward Les Andelys, a small waterside village you'll reach by afternoon. This Norman town dates back 900 years and has kept its historic buildings intact. You can wander around and see Château Gaillard, the castle ruins sitting high on the limestone cliffs above the town.

The ship heads west along the Seine to Honfleur, a colorful port town on the English Channel. You'll find an inner harbor lined with half-timbered houses, art galleries, and restaurants. Later tonight, you'll hear a lecture about Operation Fortitude and D-Day to set the stage for tomorrow's activities.

You'll wake up in Conflans-Saint-Honorine at the point where the Seine and Oise rivers meet. Walk through the charming streets and stop at riverside cafés. You can choose to visit Van Gogh's Auvers-sur-Oise, Château de Chantilly, the Musée de la Batellerie, or Château de Malmaison. Later you'll cruise back to Paris.
