Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Bomerano
You'll arrive at Naples International Airport and head to Bomerano, a small village perched 650 metres above sea level on a plateau overlooking the Amalfi Coast. The Rabbit hotel is your base for the week, a family-run place with just 10 rooms. After settling in, you can wander around the village at your own pace and get a feel for the area. Later this evening, join the welcome supper at the hotel with a homecooked dinner from your hosts.

Landmarks Bomerano - Day 2
Amalfi and Atrani
Take the morning bus down to Amalfi for a guided walk through the narrow alleyways and piazzas. You'll see the Byzantine Cathedral of St. Andrew and visit the Paper Museum, which shows off centuries of papermaking tradition going back to 1231. After the tour, you have free time to grab lunch at one of the local trattorias, then walk over to Atrani, a quiet spot that was once the real political center of the Amalfi Coast. Spend some time by the sea with gelato before heading back to Bomerano by bus in the late afternoon.

- Day 3
Sorrento and Capri
The morning bus takes you to Sorrento where you'll have time for coffee in the main square and check out the historic centre, including the 12th-century cathedral. From there, you'll board a fast ferry across the Bay of Naples to Capri. Once you arrive, you can either climb 30 minutes of steps or take the funicular (around 2 euros) up to Capri town. You'll have the option of a guided walk to Villa Lysis or time to explore on your own through the boutiques and narrow lanes. Later, the ferry takes you back to the mainland and then the bus returns you to Bomerano, getting in around 7pm.

- Day 4
Herculaneum and Pompeii
This day takes you back to ancient times with a full guided tour of Herculaneum and Pompeii, both destroyed by Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. Pompeii is a UNESCO World Heritage site with streets, houses, and frescoes remarkably preserved in volcanic ash, plus significant recent discoveries. Herculaneum is equally extraordinary with roofs, beds, doors, and other items surviving for nearly 2000 years. You'll have an English-speaking guide and a digital radio so you can hear expert details as you walk through both sites.

- Day 5
Bomerano
Today is all about embracing the slower pace back in Bomerano. The village is known for its farmland and creamy Fiore di Latte mozzarella. You'll join your hosts for a hands-on cooking session where you'll learn to make fresh pasta and Fiore di Latte using techniques developed over centuries, then sit down to lunch with what you've made. In the afternoon, you can relax by the pool, take a stroll through the village and local cafés, or join a 6-kilometre circular walk that has coastal views and winds through fragrant lemon groves starting right from the hotel.

Maiori and Minori
Head by morning bus to Maiori, a seaside town with medieval churches, colourful houses, and nice coastal views. After exploring the historic centre, you'll walk the Sentiero dei Limoni (Walk of the Lemons), a gentle 4-kilometre trail through terraced lemon groves with about 240 metres of elevation change. You'll arrive in Minori to visit a traditional limoncello producer for sampling, then have free time to explore and grab lunch at local spots including Pasticceria Sal De Riso for ice cream and lemon pastries, or visit a Roman villa. The bus brings you back to Bomerano around 5:15pm. This evening features a special dinner with traditional Neapolitan musicians.

Ravello
Travel to Ravello, known as the City of Music, sitting 350 metres above the Mediterranean. Start with a guided tour of the 11th-century cathedral, built in 1086, then explore the gardens of Villa Cimbrone with its terraces, statues, and panoramic views. You'll have free time for lunch at cafés or trattorias, and can optionally visit the 13th-century Villa Rufolo with its famous gardens that inspired Richard Wagner (entrance around 8 euros). Spend time browsing shops and artisan boutiques before the bus brings you back to Bomerano around 5:30pm. Your final meal is with your host family at the hotel.

Departure
Today you depart Bomerano for Naples International Airport. Two complimentary transfers are available: the first gets you to the airport at 8am (for flights departing 10am or later), and the second arrives at 1:30pm (for flights departing 3:30pm or later). If you're taking the later transfer, you can check out after breakfast and leave your luggage at the hotel, then relax in the common areas until it's time to head to the airport.
