Itinerary
- Day 1
Košice to Poprad
You'll get picked up from Košice Airport or Rail Station and head to Poprad. Once you arrive, you can wander through the medieval district of Spišská Sobota to see the well-preserved burgher houses and the Church of St George, which was originally built in Late-Romanesque style before 1273 and then rebuilt in Gothic style in 1464. The main square has shops, restaurants, and cafes where you can spend time at your own pace.

High Tatras
You'll hike through the High Tatras, Europe's smallest Alpine mountains that sit between Slovakia and Poland. Starting from Štrbské Pleso (the region's top winter resort), you'll head to Popradské Pleso with a break at a mountain hut along the way. The hike takes you past frozen lakes and through trails that lead to valleys and mountain lakes, so you might spot some of the unique wildlife and plants that live in the area.

- Day 3
Slovak Paradise National Park
You'll do a winter hike through Slovak Paradise National Park, going through either Suchá Belá or Prielom Hornádu gorge. The trail has frozen waterfalls and snow-covered ladders that have been set up for winter hiking. After the hike, you'll finish the day relaxing at a spa with outdoor hot springs.

Morskie Oko, Poland
You'll take a full-day guided winter hike to Morskie Oko, Poland's most well-known glacial lake surrounded by snow-covered Tatra peaks. The hike is roughly 2 hours each way depending on conditions, and you'll get great views of the alpine landscape the whole time. You'll head back to Slovakia in the evening.

Belianske Tatras
You'll hike in the quieter eastern Belianske Tatras up to Zelene Pleso. After that, you'll stop in the traditional village of Zdiar where you can try local Slovak cuisine and get a feel for authentic regional flavors and mountain traditions in a less crowded setting.

- Day 6
Hrebienok
You'll hike from Starý Smokovec to Hrebienok where the Ice Church is located. It has a new replica of a church from somewhere in the world that changes every year. From Hrebienok, you have the option to do more hikes to nearby waterfalls and mountain chalets like Zámkovského Chata or Teryho Chata.

- Day 7
Poprad Departure
This morning you can spend time in Poprad city centre with its cafes and restaurants, or do some shopping and relax in the main square of Spišská Sobota. In the afternoon, you'll get dropped off at Košice Airport or Košice Rail Station. If you prefer, drop-offs at Poprad rail or bus station can be set up instead.
