Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo to Wadi Al-Hitan
Your pickup happens early morning from the hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle heading southwest toward Wadi Al-Hitan. Once there, you'll walk through the valley to see remarkably preserved fossils of ancient whales and marine creatures scattered across the dramatic desert landscape. A guide explains the paleontology and what these remains tell us about marine evolution. After grabbing lunch among the desert surroundings, you'll head to your desert camp where the night offers stargazing and quiet time to take in the atmosphere.

Fayoum Oasis
Following breakfast at the camp, you head to the village of Tunis known for its artisanal pottery and colorful markets where you can talk with local craftspeople and pick up handicrafts. From there, Lake Qarun comes next for a boat trip where you'll spot different bird species and learn about the region's natural heritage. After lunch at a local spot, you'll check out Wadi El Rayan Reserve to see the waterfalls and two connected lakes formed from ancient springs. The evening brings you back to camp for another night of stargazing.

- Day 3
Fayoum Oasis to Cairo
This final day starts with breakfast followed by more exploring around the Fayoum Oasis before heading back to Cairo. You'll see Qasr Qarun Temple, which was dedicated to the Greco-Roman god Sobek, and learn about its history. Next comes Wadi Al Rayyan Lake where you can swim in the clear turquoise waters with palm trees and sand dunes all around. After lunch at a local restaurant, your representative travels with you back to Cairo, arriving at your hotel with plenty of memories from the trip.
