- Day 1
Paris
You'll be picked up from Paris airport (CDG or ORY) based on your arrival time. If you get there early, there's a River Seine cruise with glass canopy views of the city's grand boulevards, followed by a trip up the Eiffel Tower with skip-the-line access. If your flight lands late, these activities can shift to another day. You'll stay overnight in Paris.

Paris
Start the day with a guided walking tour hitting major Paris landmarks like Notre Dame Cathedral and Pont Neuf. From there, you'll head to the Louvre Museum with skip-the-line tickets and have the afternoon free to wander through at your own pace. Overnight in Paris.

This day is yours to explore Paris on your own. Walk down the Champs-Élysées and then make your way to Montmartre to see its museums, old vineyards, and windmills using a provided Google Maps link. There's also the option to visit Père Lachaise Cemetery if you're interested in seeing where famous people are buried. Sleep in Paris again.

Paris to Bordeaux
You'll take a train from Paris to Bordeaux this morning. Your ticket is included, but you'll need to handle getting to the station and from Bordeaux's station to your hotel on your own using taxis, trams, or metro. After checking in, spend the rest of the day getting oriented to Bordeaux. Overnight there.

Bordeaux
After breakfast, head out to Saint-Émilion, a medieval village in the wine region nearby. You'll walk through stone streets with historic buildings, art galleries, and local shops. The day includes time at vineyards and wine estates where you can learn about how wine is made and taste some of it. There's a carved underground church to see and views out over the vineyards from higher ground. Back to Bordeaux for the night.

Bordeaux to Toulouse
Another train journey this morning takes you from Bordeaux to Toulouse. Like before, your ticket is included but station transfers are on you using taxis, trams, or metro. Once you reach your hotel and settle in, the rest of the day is open for getting to know Toulouse. Overnight in Toulouse.

Toulouse to Carcassonne
After breakfast, you'll take a train from Toulouse to Carcassonne, a major medieval site that's on UNESCO's list. The journey itself goes through nice countryside. When you arrive, spend time exploring the fortified city with its castle and old ramparts that give you wide views of the area. Wander through cobbled streets with centuries of history around you. You'll return to Toulouse by evening.

Toulouse to Marseille

Marseille
Spend this full day seeing Marseille on your own with your 48-hour transportation pass. You can visit places like Mucem (Museum of Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean), MAC (contemporary art museum), the History of Marseille Museum, and Palais Longchamp. There's also a round-trip boat tour option. Your pass works on the metro, trams, and buses throughout the city. Overnight in Marseille.

Nice and Monaco
A local guide leads you on a walking tour through Nice to see the city's highlights at a relaxed pace. Then you'll travel to Monte Carlo in Monaco, known for its luxury and high-end atmosphere. There you can walk through Place du Casino, check out the fancy hotels, and browse upscale shops in the Carré d'Or district. Return train tickets to Nice are included. Sleep in Nice.
