The 8 Days/7 Nights Beijing-Xi'an-Shanghai tour was fantastic! The itinerary was very well planned. We were able to visit key sites in each city such as the Great Wall of China, The Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Terracotta Warriors, the Bund, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and many more! We also enjoyed a Beijing Hutong tour via rickshaw. We took a pottery class and created our own terracotta warriors, painted peking opera facial mask, learned calligraphy, and took a tea making class. We visited the Muslin Quarter in Xi'an which is a foodies heaven! There were several optional activities that we enjoyed including an acrobatic show in Beijing, Tang Dynasty Show in Xi'an and Zhujiajiao Water Town in Shanghai. The driver was there upon our arrival at the airport. The driver was easy to identify as he held a sign with our name. The pick up was easy and fast. He had bottled waters waiting for us in the car. He shared that there was a major mall right across the street from our hotel which we visited. The hotels included with the tour were very nice, clean, and centrally located. Check in and check out were simple. The breakfast offered at the hotels were buffet style, included a great selection of options and was very good. The hotel in Beijing and Xi'an had a robot that would bring your food to your room if you ordered room service, which was super cool. The hotel staff were very helpful. In Shanghai, the staff booked a taxi for us to visit a restaurant we wanted to try out. The staff also came to get us when the taxi arrived and spoke with the driver to ensure he knew where we wanted to go. The tour guides (Beijing: Sisi; Xi'an: Jason; Shanghai: Maggie) were awesome! All were very knowledgeable and friendly. They ensured we had many restroom breaks and walked a good pace. They also helped with taking photos! They showcased the cuisine of the region by selecting restaurants that offered authentic meals. They also ensured that anyone that had food allergies or special dietary restrictions were taken care of. Internal transportation was well organized. The high speed train was very nice. Our tour guides ensured that we had the proper tickets and documentation to board the train and airplane. Our tour guides also stayed with us to make sure we boarded the correct train to Xi'an and ensured that we were all checked in for our flight to Shanghai. This was super helpful!! Improvements: At times, we felt rushed and were not given sufficient time to visit souvenir shops along the way. I recommend allowing more time at each location for people to look around and pick up souvenirs. It also seemed that we were directed to go to specific souvenir shops instead of being able to explore other shops on our own. I would also suggest that the TourRadar team ensure that the great communication continue throughout the process. I received great communication and prompt responses when I was booking the tour and prior to me paying off the tour; however, the communication started to slack once I completed payment of the tour. I recommend the confirmation letter of the tour (confirmed hotels, itinerary details, etc.) be sent out at least 1-2 weeks prior to the trip. I had to reach out to the team days before the trip b/c I had not received the confirmation letter. I also had to reach out to receive the drivers' details for my airport pick up to return home and those details did not include the time the driver would be arriving at the hotel. I had to get this information from my tour guide. Also, the eSIM that was provided did not work for me. Overall: I would recommend this tour to others. It was well organized and the tour guides were awesome.
