From May through November, plankton blooms draw large numbers of reef manta rays and occasionally whale sharks to the area. You'll snorkel among these gentle giants while following strict ecosystem protection guidelines. Each visit differs based on what's happening that day, and tidal shifts around full and new moons typically bring the highest plankton concentrations. Later in the afternoon, you join a guided sunset kayak through the calm lagoon where eagle rays or reef sharks might appear.
