- Day 1
Frankfurt to Mainz
You'll arrive in Mainz and board the MS RIVER DIAMOND with check-in starting at 4:00 p.m. If you get there earlier, drop off your luggage and wander around the city for a bit. Before the ship sets sail overnight, there's a welcome cocktail and dinner served on board.

- Day 2
Mannheim
The ship reaches Mannheim early in the morning, giving you time to walk around this university city sitting where the Rhine and Neckar rivers meet. There's an optional day trip to Heidelberg and its castle if you want to book it on board (you'll need a minimum number of people). The ship continues sailing through the night.

- Day 3
Strasbourg
Strasbourg comes into view, the capital of French Alsace with a lot of history to see. In the morning, you can either explore on your own or take a guided coach and walking tour through the old city center. After grabbing lunch, you'll have free time or can head to Colmar, another important Alsatian town nearby. Overnight sailing resumes after that.

- Day 4
Karlsruhe to Speyer
You'll dock early in Karlsruhe, a technology and science center in the Rhine Valley, where you have the morning free. Later in the day, the ship stops in Speyer, a charming town on the Rhine. There you can see the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption and Saint Stephen, which is the largest Romanesque cathedral still standing and one of Germany's three Imperial Cathedrals. Sailing through the night continues.

Worms to Rüdesheim
Morning brings you to Worms to check out St. Peter's Cathedral, known as one of the Rhine's architectural highlights and connected to important religious history like the Edict of Worms. By mid-afternoon, you'll arrive in Rüdesheim and stay overnight there.

- Day 6
Romantic Rhine
Today you're cruising through one of Europe's most beautiful stretches along the Romantic Rhine, a 65-kilometer UNESCO World Heritage site running between Rüdesheim and Koblenz. The route passes castles, vineyards, and legendary spots like the Loreley rock. You'll reach Koblenz in the afternoon with free time to look around, then sail overnight.

- Day 7
Cologne
Cologne appears early in the morning, and it's one of Germany's biggest cities. There's an optional walking tour through the historic areas that finishes at Cologne Cathedral, the Archbishop's seat and the city's main sight. The afternoon is yours to spend at breweries, shops, or perfume stores, or you can take an optional trip to Bonn or Düsseldorf if interested. After dinner, you'll head back toward Koblenz with the ship sailing overnight.
