Adiyaman
You'll leave Cappadocia early and drive through Kahramanmaras to reach Adiyaman. The main focus here is Mount Nemrut, where you'll see ancient tombs from the Kingdom of Commagene and colossal statues of the gods. You'll climb up to the Tumulus of Antiochos and catch the sunset over this 2,000-year-old funerary monument before settling into your accommodation for the night.

Adiyaman to Sanliurfa
After breakfast, you're heading to Sanliurfa on a scenic route that passes the Ataturk Dam. You'll stop in historic Harran to wander through its distinctive mud-brick houses and see the ancient city walls. Once in Sanliurfa, you'll visit the Holy Pools of Abraham and the cave traditionally believed to be where Prophet Abraham was born, then head to your accommodation.

Sanliurfa Archaeological Exploration
This day focuses on archaeology. You'll start at Gobekli Tepe, an important archaeological site with sacred structures dating back 11,000 to 13,000 years. From there, you'll check out Karahan Tepe with its 250 plus megalithic structures and T-shaped pillars. Later you'll see Roman mosaics at the Haleplibahce Mosaic Museum, explore rock-carved tombs at Kızılkoyun Nekropolis, and finish at the Sanliurfa Archaeology Museum before returning to your accommodation.

Sanliurfa to Gaziantep to Istanbul
The scenic drive to Gaziantep includes a stop in Halfeti where you'll take a boat on the Euphrates River to see the partially submerged city. In Gaziantep, you'll visit the Zeugma Mosaic Museum to see exceptional Roman mosaics. You'll have free time to walk through bazaars, shop for handicrafts, and try local dishes like baklava and kebabs. Later you'll transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Istanbul.
