Heraklion
You'll arrive in Heraklion and get transferred to your accommodation. Later this evening, you'll join everyone for a welcome meeting and head to a local taverna for dinner together.

Messara Plain - Beekeeping
After breakfast, you're heading south toward the Messara plain, driving through small villages and climbing uphill as you go. You'll meet local beekeepers Grigoris and Maria who'll show you how they produce honey, and then sit down for an authentic Cretan lunch they've made.

Landmarks Messara Plain Sternes - Day 3
Dafnes - Wine Region
This day focuses on Crete's wine region. You'll check out the village of Dafnes, which is known as the wine capital of the island. Winemaker Fereniki will walk you through her vineyards and talk about her wines before preparing lunch for the group.

Landmarks Dafnes - Day 4
Kamares - Cheese Making
Head to Kamares village to see how traditional Cretan cheese gets made. Farmer Jorgis and his wife Christina will show you their animals and let you watch the cheese-making process happen. After that, you'll sit down to lunch with traditional recipes they've prepared.

Landmarks Kamares - Day 5
Skalani - Olive Oil Production
You're traveling to Skalani to see the olive mills and groves there, which represent Crete's signature product. Jannis and his father Jorgos will take you through their olive production, give you tastings of their oils, and serve Cretan delicacies for the meal.

Landmarks Skalani - Day 6
Dyskos - Fishing Village
You'll head to the quieter south coast and the village of Dyskos to meet fisherman Manolis and his wife Maria at their taverna. He'll prepare fresh-caught fish for lunch, and you'll have time to see his boat and swim in the clear waters of the Libyan Sea.
