Itinerary
- Day 1
Porto to Ponte de Lima
Your guide picks you up at Porto airport and drives you to Ponte de Lima, a medieval town with character. Spend the day walking through narrow old streets, checking out the city walls, and wandering around the squares along the river. It's a good chance to get your bearings and relax after travel.

Ponte de Lima to Rubião
After breakfast, head north from your accommodation and cross an ancient Roman bridge. You'll follow the historic pilgrim route, climbing to the highest point of the entire journey. The walk takes you through northern Portugal's landscapes, and by evening you'll reach Rubião where you'll stay for the night.

 - Day 3
Rubião to Valença do Minho
Start with breakfast then visit the Rubião sanctuary, an archaeological site with Roman history. From there, walk through forests and agricultural fields on a scenic route heading toward Valença do Minho. You'll find an 18th-century Portuguese fortress and the charming old town waiting when you arrive, giving you time to explore before settling in.

Valença do Minho to Porriño
Walk past small fortresses and through medieval streets, crossing old bridges and portals as you go. The town of Tuy has a cathedral that's worth your time. From there, continue through landscapes where life hasn't changed much over the years, then cross into Galicia and walk along the river to Porriño for the night.

Porriño to Redondela
Head toward Redondela with uphill sections that reward you with views of the horizon and Ría de Vigo. You'll walk through rural villages with waterways and meet friendly locals. By evening, explore monuments in Redondela's center and catch the sunset from a good vantage point.

Redondela to Pontevedra
Walk through fjord-like landscapes and miles of woodland, passing through small ancient Roman villages. The Camino spirit continues here with friendly and welcoming people along the way. After walking through an arcaded village, you'll climb to Pontevedra, a historic town with great terraces where you can settle in for the night.

Pontevedra to Caldas dos Reis
This is one of the longer days on the journey. You'll walk along old railroad tracks, rural paths, and through wetlands with lots of wildlife. Later, check out the Barrosa River waterfall and water mill system before heading to your hotel in Caldas dos Reis. By evening you'll be ready for a rest.

Caldas dos Reis to Padrón
Walk through fertile agricultural fields blessed by thermal waters, then head toward Valga. You'll pass through beautiful landscapes by the river and dark forests. After that, take small roads to Pontecesures with its religious architecture, then cross the river to Padrón. This is your last stop before Santiago, and you'll find nice gardens and monuments to explore.

Padrón to Santiago de Compostela
The final and longest day covers 26 km from Padrón to Santiago de Compostela. You'll head north to the collegiate church of Santa Maria la Mayor, then reach the outskirts of Santiago. The afternoon is free to walk through the old town, check out religious buildings, and visit the Museum of the Galician People. End the night with a great meal and the sound of bagpipes.
