Itinerary
- Day 1
Dublin
You'll arrive in Dublin and get picked up at the airport by an ASI representative who drives you south to Killiney and the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel. It's a smooth transfer to get you settled in for the week ahead.
- Day 2
Wicklow - Roundwood to Glendalough
After breakfast, meet your hiking guide at 8:45 am at the hotel (wear walking clothes). You'll hike the 3rd stage of the Wicklow Way from Roundwood to Glendalough, where a 6th-century monastery sits in a valley between two lakes surrounded by steep, wooded slopes. The route covers good distance but the scenery makes it worthwhile.

- Day 3
Howth
Head to the fishing village of Howth and walk the cliff path at Howth Head. The coastal trail is well-maintained and takes you through heather and gorse with views of Ireland's Eye and Lambay Island. You'll reach the Baily Lighthouse on a rocky outcrop, which is perfect for photos and a break.

Djouce Mountain
This hike takes you to Djouce Mountain's summit, starting from Croin's Wood. You'll walk through open meadows and varied terrain with country lanes, higher ground, and dense woodland sections. The descent offers views of Lough Tay (also called 'Guinness Lake'). After finishing, grab a classic scone before heading back to the hotel.

Dublin
Take the train to Dublin and explore the capital on foot. North of the River Liffey, check out O'Connell and Henry Street shopping along with the General Post Office and Custom House. South of the river, you'll see St. Stephen's Green Park, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Christ Church Cathedral, and the Georgian squares. By evening, return to the hotel for a special New Year's Eve Gala Dinner with a pianist.

Bray to Greystones
After breakfast, take a short train ride to Bray and hike the coastal path to Greystones. Along the way you'll pass Bray Head with its views of the Irish Sea, Wicklow Mountains, and Bray town. Once in Greystones, pick from several restaurants for lunch before taking the train back to Killiney.

Killiney
You have the day free to do what you want. Wander around the seaside resort of Killiney and its surroundings, take the train into Dublin for more exploring, or just relax at the hotel. It's up to you how you spend it.

Dublin
