Arrival
You'll arrive in Ireland and meet your tour director and fellow travelers at the hotel. This evening there's a welcome dinner so you can start getting to know everyone before the real exploring begins.

Dublin
The morning starts with a drive through Dublin to see O'Connell Street, Georgian squares, St Patrick's Cathedral, and Trinity College from the outside. You have the afternoon free to wander around and get a feel for the city on your own. Then later you'll head to the Guinness Storehouse for a tour about how the beer is made, a tasting, and dinner included.

- Day 3
Dublin to Galway
You're heading out to Athlone and stopping at Rathbaun Farm along the way. There you'll bake your own scones, watch sheep herding demonstrations, and have fresh coffee and scones. From there it's on to Galway where you'll arrive in the mid-afternoon with time to check out this colorful city before settling in.

- Day 4
Galway to Bunratty
This morning you'll drive to the Cliffs of Moher, which rise 668 feet up from the coast and offer views across to Clare. After that you'll cross through The Burren's limestone landscape and arrive at Bunratty Folk Park to see thatched cottages and farmsteads from the 1800s. Later there's a medieval banquet at Bunratty Castle with entertainment and dinner.

Bunratty to Killarney
Start with learning about Irish Coffee this morning, then drive around part of the Ring of Kerry with its coastal views. A local guide takes you on a seaweed walk and tasting along the Atlantic shore to learn about this historic food source. You'll wrap up the day in Killarney for your overnight stay.

- Day 6
Killarney
Today is yours to enjoy Killarney at your own pace. You can take walks or hikes around the 26,000-acre national park, go cycling, or ride in a traditional jaunting car. The park has lakes, woods, mountains, and red deer to see, so there's plenty to do depending on what interests you most.

Killarney to Cape Clear Island to Blarney
You're traveling to County Cork and the village of Baltimore this morning. From there a short ferry takes you out to Cape Clear Island where a local resident guides you on a walking tour and explains what life is like for the island's 110 people. During the ferry ride keep watch for whales, dolphins, and leatherback turtles. You'll stay overnight in the village of Blarney.

- Day 8
Blarney
Start the day in Cobh exploring the 'Queenstown Story' which covers Irish Famine history, emigration, coffin ships, the Titanic, and the Lusitania. Next you'll tour the Old Midleton Distillery to learn how Jameson Irish Whiskey is made and about the people behind it. Back in Blarney you'll have time to visit Blarney Castle and optionally kiss the Blarney Stone if you want to supposedly gain the gift of eloquence.

Blarney to Dublin
Morning takes you to Highbank Orchards in Kilkenny to see their 17th-century apple farming operation and learn about their organic apples. Then you'll explore Kilkenny itself, which has medieval cobbled streets and hidden alleyways worth wandering. After that it's back to Dublin for the evening where Irish song, dance, and comedy at Taylors Irish Cabaret wraps up the trip on a high note.
