This was my first trip to Ireland and I am so glad we booked with CIE. We took the Wild Atlantic Way tour which I would recommend. We saw so many interesting places all over Ireland. Our tour guide, Niall, was fabulous. He shared so much history and fun facts and had the best sense of humor, making our trip so fun and memorable. The hotels were very nice. I would highly recommend CIE and the Wild Atlantic Way tour and especially Niall as your guide. This was a top notch trip!

My mom, sister and I have toured Ireland once before with a CIE tour bus. It was a great trip. We decided we wanted to return and see another region on this trip. We briefly entertained the idea of renting a car but decided that perhaps a private tour with a chauffeur would be better. That was the best decision ever! We have had the most amazing trip this time. Our driver / guide Martin Doyle met us at the airport and from that moment on we found we had truly made the right choice! He could not have been more helpful in any way. He took such good care of us. He was an excellent driver and guide. He had a vast knowledge of the areas we toured as well as all things Irish. He was kind and considerate to my mom, always ready to assist her as needed. He took us to so many wonderful places that a tourist might not ever see on their own. As well as to many places the big busses could never go. The personal touch and attention to details was spot on!! We will miss our new friend, however, before leaving we got lots of tips and ideas for our next trip to the green isle. And you can be sure that we will be requesting Martin Doyle as our driver / guide once again! Thank you Martin for a very memorable trip! Sharon, Linda & Gladys

What a wonderful tour of the Wild Atlantic Way made even more special by our personable and knowledgeable guide/driver Niall. I can confidently speak for our group of 10, mostly from NC, that we came away robustly informed and entertained. In addition to Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, Giant's Causeway, Donegal, Derry, Titanic Belfast, Guinness and much more, we came in early and played 18 at the charming Ennis Golf Club and stayed an extra day for the Irish Music Pub Crawl. Thrilled with it wall. We'll be back.

We just returned yesterday from our coastal tour with Colm Willis, our guide and driver. We had one of the best times ever and saw so many beautiful sights. Colm is an incredibly knowledgeable person with a respectable sense of humor I personally found entertaining to say the least. I would like to wish Colm a safe and enjoyable touring season and say thank you for the great tour.

We booked the Wild Atlantic Way 13 day tour with a group of friends to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and we are ecstatic to have done so. From our tour director, Frank’s, welcome at Shannon to the Medieval Feast at Bunratty, the trip was informative, exciting, comfortable and enjoyable. We could not have done the trip without Frank and his wonderfully thorough knowledge of the history and culture of Ireland and we appreciated his recommendations for eateries and opportunities to explore local restaurants and pubs on our own. These open afternoons and evenings allowed us to experience local dining, culture, and aided in crafting wonderful, lasting memories in this beautiful location. The tour was run smoothly and efficiently, allowing us to fully enjoy and experience every location. Our favorite highlights were: Westport, Glenveagh Castle, Titanic, Dublin, and most especially, the afternoon and evening opportunities to explore the area. We love that we stayed the entirety of the tour as we had so many special activities, such as the sheepdog trials, water tour of Dingle Harbor and the Maritime Museum. The beauty of the country was amplified by Frank, who is all the craic. Thanks to him and to CIE for making our anniversary travel memorable. We look forward to future tours. Go raibh maith agat as na cuimhní cinn álainn!

Just returned from the 13 day Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way tour with Niall McErlean as our driver/guide. Words cannot express how magnificent this trip was. The scenery was beautiful and the accommodations were great, but the trip ran flawlessly because of Niall. He is a wealth of knowledge and has a way of providing facts in an interesting way; not like a lecture. That, combined with his engaging personality and wonderful sense of humor, made this trip unforgettable. I would highly recommend CIE to anyone looking for an amazing experience filled with new friends, extraordinary experiences, and most importantly, good craic.

The Wild Atlantic Way Tour was excellent!! Frank Hamil was an outstanding tour guide and driver! He made each of us feel like we were the most important person in his care! He has a wealth of knowledge about the area he shows and gives a good dose of humor along the way. The sights, sounds and smells of Ireland were spectacular and the trip was enhanced by wonderful accommodations and meals. I would (and already have!) recommend this tour to anyone who is up for an adventure!

CIE Tours surpassed all our expectations! Our family of five chose the "Wild Atlantic Way" 13 day tour. The chosen hotels and staff were lovely, the food incredible, and the itinerary and planned stops were timed perfectly. The best part of the trip, however, would have to be our tour guide, Niall! The whole family fell in love with him over the course of the trip--he kept our 10 & 12 year old boys (and the rest of the bus) fascinated with stories, and history, and laughter all along the way. His love for what he does, combined with his professional yet personable manner, made a lasting impression of both Ireland and CIE Tours that will not soon be forgotten. Thank you for such a memorable trip, and we look forward to recommending CIE as often as possible!
