Itinerary
- Day 1
Brisbane
You'll arrive in Brisbane and head to the hotel to meet your group at 5 pm. After a welcome briefing, there's an orientation walk through the city to get your bearings. If you're interested, an optional group dinner at a local restaurant is on the table for the evening.

Brisbane to Airlie Beach
Catch a domestic flight from Brisbane to Proserpine, then drive to Airlie Beach. The afternoon is yours to do as you like. You might wander the waterfront, check out some boutiques, or swim in the local lagoon if the weather's nice.

Whitsunday Islands
After breakfast, you'll board the Thundercat for a full-day cruise through the Whitsunday Islands. The day includes stops at Whitehaven Beach with its silica sand, a rainforest walk, snorkeling over coral reefs, and a visit to Hill Inlet Lookout for island views.

Mission Beach
You'll drive north through cane fields and coastal scenery to reach Mission Beach. From there, the day is open for you. Relax by the pool, take a walk on the beach, or spend time looking for wallabies and cassowaries in the area.

Wet Tropics to Cairns
Head inland into the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area this morning. You'll swim at a rainforest waterfall, see Lake Eacham which is a volcanic crater lake, and visit the ancient Curtain Fig Tree. By evening you'll arrive in Cairns.

Great Barrier Reef
Board the Ocean Freedom catamaran for a day at the Great Barrier Reef. You'll snorkel in coral gardens, listen to guides explain reef ecology, and take a glass-bottom boat tour to see more of what's below. Back in Cairns by evening, with the option to try scuba diving if you're experienced.

Travel through the canopy to Kuranda, a mountain village where you can walk through famous markets and check out local art. From there, head north along the Coral Coast to Port Douglas. The group can join together for optional sunset drinks and dinner.

Mossman Gorge
Port Douglas offers a relaxed morning where you might visit the Sunday markets with an ocean view coffee. Later, head to Mossman Gorge for a guided rainforest walk and cultural experience with Kuku Yalanji Traditional Owners, who'll share knowledge about bush tucker and local customs.

Cape Tribulation
Walk through the ancient Daintree Rainforest on a guided tour, keeping an eye out for cassowaries and wildlife. Stop at Cape Tribulation where two World Heritage areas meet, then take an eco-friendly boat cruise on the Daintree River to spot crocodiles and birds. You'll drive back to Cairns along the scenic coastal road, arriving around 6 pm when the tour concludes.
