- Day 1
Kochi
After landing at Cochin International Airport, you'll head to your hotel in Kochi and get settled in. Take some time to walk around and soak up the feel of this coastal city with its colonial history and connection to the spice trade. The seaside atmosphere gives you a real sense of the place right from the start.

Kochi to Periyar
Start the day exploring Fort Kochi's neighborhoods, which show off Portuguese, Dutch, and British influences from centuries past. You'll see the Chinese Fishing Nets in action, check out St. Francis Church, and walk through Mattancherry Palace to see its Kerala murals. Wander through Jew Town to browse antique shops and spice markets. By afternoon, you're watching a Kathakali dance performance, and then driving toward Periyar through villages and forested hills that smell of spices.

Periyar
After breakfast, you'll take a quiet boat ride on Periyar Lake in the Wildlife Sanctuary and look for elephants, sambar deer, and birds. Next, visit a spice plantation to learn how pepper, cardamom, and cinnamon are grown and harvested traditionally. When evening comes, there's a Kalaripayattu martial arts performance showing traditional techniques and strength.

Periyar to Alleppey
Head down from the hills toward Alleppey's backwaters, stopping at a rubber plantation to watch how latex gets tapped. Then you'll board your private houseboat and cruise through calm canals and lakes, seeing villages and watching fishermen and kids wave from the banks. Have a freshly made Keralite lunch on board, relax on the sundeck as light reflects off the water, and anchor for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Alleppey Backwaters - Day 5
Alleppey to Kochi
Wake up to water and birds singing. After breakfast on the boat, you'll head back to Kochi by car. If your flight allows, take a final walk through Fort Kochi or pick up spices and souvenirs in Jew Town before transferring to Cochin International Airport for your departure.
