Itinerary
- Day 1
Quepos/Manuel Antonio to Dominical
Start your morning heading to the Pacific coast where you'll begin exploring a series of waterfalls throughout the day. After meeting your bilingual guide, you'll make your way to Portalón Swimming Holes first, where the water is safe for swimming and you can take a dip between waterfall hikes. Your guide will point out local plants and animals as you walk the trails, explaining how the ecosystem works here. Later, you'll reach Uvita Waterfall, which has a natural rock slide that flows right into the pool below, and yes, you can slide down if you're up for it. During lunch (bring a packed meal or grab something in town earlier), you'll rest and refuel. After that, the afternoon takes you to Playa Linda beach for some time walking along the sand, then into Dominical where you can browse shops, pick up souvenirs, and stop at a local café for coffee. Before wrapping up, you'll cool off at Poza Azul, another swimming spot perfect for refreshing before heading back. Your guide keeps sharing cultural tidbits and local stories throughout, so you'll learn about the region beyond just the natural sites.
