Though he got us from A to B he was rude and stand offish at times. It's a real shame as I have heard some lovely reports about Intrepid's guides but I didn't find him very approachable. We enjoyed the local guides as our tour leader was not a guide, just a leader and not a Bulgarian local. It was the first Intrepid Tour that my husband and I had taken.
