You'll arrive in Darwin and head to your hotel with views out over Darwin Harbour. This evening, there's a welcome dinner to get things started and meet the group.

Darwin
Darwin offers several options for the day. You can join a tour on Adelaide River to watch crocodiles leap out of the water, check out the wetlands at Fogg Dam, walk through the city's history and cultural sites, or learn about the WWII bombing campaign that left its mark on Darwin.

Darwin to Kakadu National Park
You'll head to Kakadu National Park, a World Heritage site and one of Australia's significant natural and cultural areas. See ancient Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock, stop by the Bowali Visitors Centre to get oriented, then take a cruise across Yellow Water Billabong where you'll spot crocodiles and lots of birds.

Kakadu National Park to Katherine
This morning you can fly over Kakadu's escarpments to see Jim Jim and Twin Falls (optional, extra cost). After that, you'll travel to Katherine and visit Nitmiluk National Park to explore Katherine Gorge with its tall sandstone cliffs and ancient rock art. Later, there's a dinner cruise through the gorge.

Katherine to El Questro Wilderness Park
You're heading into Western Australia's Kimberley region. First stop is the first Aboriginal-owned art centre in WA, then you'll drive the Gibb River Road to El Questro Wilderness Park, a 700,000-acre property with thermal springs, waterfalls, gorges and rugged land.

At El Questro, you'll choose from several activities: cruise through Chamberlain Gorge, explore the park's bush culture and history, or learn about Ngarinyin culture and ancient healing practices. By evening, you'll have exclusive sunset drinks at the El Questro Station Airstrip.

El Questro to Kununurra
You're off to Kununurra, a young town surrounded by lakes, waterfalls and rivers with good fishing. A local Indigenous guide will show you Miriuwung culture and country, including Mirima National Parks that protect sites significant to the Miriuwung people.

Kununurra
Lake Argyle is one of the Southern Hemisphere's largest man-made lakes with over 70 islands and freshwater crocodiles and birds throughout. You'll cruise the Ord River to see gorge walls and river scenery, then have afternoon tea and tour Hoochery Distillery.

You'll fly to Broome, a multicultural tropical coastal city that blends Indonesian, Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese and European influences with First Nations culture. After arriving, you'll take a scenic cruise along the coastline aboard the Ballena catamaran.
