Colombo
Your journey starts when you land at Colombo airport. A representative will meet you there and handle the drive to your hotel, getting you settled in for the night. It's a straightforward arrival day, so you can rest up before things get busy tomorrow.

Dambulla - Sigiriya
After breakfast, you'll head to Dambulla Rock Temple to see the 5 cave temples and around 150 Buddha statues spread throughout. From there, it's on to Sigiriya Rock, a 5th century citadel where you can check out ancient frescoes and the famous Lion Paws gateway entrance. Lunch happens at a local restaurant, then you'll return to Sigiriya for dinner and an overnight stay.

Sigiriya - Matale - Kandy
Starting with breakfast, you'll drive toward Kandy and stop at a spice garden in Matale where they show you how spices are grown and processed. Once in Kandy, you'll walk around this World Heritage site and former royal capital. The day includes visiting the sacred tooth relic temple, wandering through the city centre and markets, and catching a traditional cultural show. Lunch comes at a local restaurant before you check into your hotel for the night.

Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, you're heading to Nuwara Eliya with a stop at a tea plantation along the way. There you'll tour the tea gardens and factory to see how Ceylon Tea gets produced. When you reach Nuwara Eliya, you'll get a tour of this British colonial town with its countryside feel, plus a visit to Lake Gregory. You'll have lunch at a local restaurant and get settled at your hotel for dinner and overnight.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll have dinner and then head to the airport for your flight home.
